TCS BUSINESS ADMIN APPRENTICESHIP SCHEME

When we decided to set up our apprenticeship scheme over 3 years ago we didn’t realise the calibre of young people just leaving school.

Rebecca

Rebecca joined us in October 2013 as an apprentice accounts administrator. Within weeks her potential for bookkeeping and numeracy shone. After finishing her level 2 apprenticeship she has now gone on and completed her AAT level 2 and is currently working towards her AAT level 3. Rebecca can be a fully qualified Financial accountant within the next 4 years. This highlights the pathway that apprenticeships can lead to gaining valuable experience in the workplace and without the added debt of University fees.

Connor joined the sales team in July 2015 in a sales support role with tasks such as lead generation and keeping the CRM systems up to date. After a short period of time Connor became proficient in product knowledge and sales techniques and is now an integral part of the sales team.

Within a matter of weeks Megan took over the responsibility of managing the online transport portal and a few month later showing excellent negotiating skills she moved into procurement where she now holds a valid position within the department.
